MEMORY CARD IMAGE RECOVERY

Sound advice if you think you've lost valuable digital photos:-

Here is some simple advice Pyramid Imaging has developed about what to do with your camera and memory card if an accident should occur. Reacting correctly in the case of an accident increases the chances of a successful photo recovery.

• When you cannot get the memory card to work:
  Do not try to take any new pictures.
  Do not reformat the memory card.
  Deliver the memory card to ourselves for recovery.
  
  
• When you have deleted all the photos or individual photos:
  Do not take any more photos,
  as new photos may destroy the old photos.
  
  
• When your camera has become wet or fallen in water:
  Do not turn the camera on to check if it works.
  Remove the memory card and keep it moist if the memory card is already wet, otherwise keep the card as dry as possible.
  Deliver the memory card to ourselves as quickly as possible.
  

If your digital images or movies have been accidentally erased,
or your digital media card has been formatted incorrectly, there is a high probability that we can recover these lost images.

The image recovery tools and software that we use ensures that there is no risk or damage to your media or any further loss of files.

All recovered files are burnt to a CD-ROM and returned to you within five working days.

In the unlikely event that we cannot recover any images from your media, it will be returned to you in its original condition at no charge.

Should I do anything before sending you my damaged card?

Once you've decided to send your card to , don't do anything further to the card. Do not attempt to format, or write additional files or pictures to the card. Package the card carefully in a well padded envelope or box and send it to us.

How long does it take?

Most files from cards can be recovered within 24 to 48 hours from the time they are received. Occasionally, more difficult recoveries can take 3-5 business days.
